Headlines in the UK newspapers suggest Britain is set to become the truffle capital of the world within 30 years.

It’s hard to imagine that truffle purists will accept commercially grown mushrooms in the same light as the snuffled out truffles that command huge prices on the continent.
However it might just bring the taste of truffles to the masses.
