The old weather spake, "ne’er cast a clout til May be out” tends to hold true most years.
This year is no exception with many fluctuations in temperature during the month, from warm sunny summer conditions, to temperatures and weather that wouldn’t look out of place on a dark January day.
Climate controls are verily tested in the month of May. The old Shakespearean quote also bears true, rough winds do shake the darling buds of May.
Still there’s much hope that we are facing into a good summer this year - and to misquote the Bard, to hope, perchance to dream.
