Stalker notes that exports to the UK from Ireland fell by 3.1 per cent in 2016, caused by the currency slide after the vote to leave the EU.
However exports recovered by 8.2 percent last year, even though sterling remained under pressure from the stronger euro. There seems to be some cushioning effect happening.
Stalker also read a report that exports from the North are up in March, mainly on the back of business to the South. Seems like exports are good all round.
