Stalker was amused by some of the media stories on the back of the latest wall street wobble and consequent stock crashes around the world markets.
One quote attracted the eye, for in it lay a new word, for Stalker anyway: “We are going to have a full blown crisis. The entire global financial system is a Ouroboros - a snake eating its own tail.”
Stalker loves nothing more than a new word - even though the concept is well known, perhaps the word is not. The origin of word is Greek of course, and before that the concept appeared in ancient Egypt and probably beyond; and most of us will have seen the image associated with it before.
It represents the idea of the eternal return or cyclicality, especially in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself.
It also represents the infinite cycle of nature's endless creation and destruction.
As for the doomsaying, dire utterance - who knows?
