Teagasc is offering a new service throughout the country in the shape of a new initiative called Teagasc Connected.
Its putting its knowledge base at the disposal of professionals and businesses who work in the agri-food sector.
The aim is to provide a range of education, training and other development programmes to the non-farming members of the agricultural knowledge innovations system.
It costs €195 a year, with a half off for the first year. Giving access to networking events and discounted training.
It is also a good way to transfer knowledge and gain and understanding of the agri-food ecosystem according to the programme manager Mark Gibson.
