The death of Antonio Carluccio the restaurateur and TV Chef was announced on the 8th of November. Carluccio is a name synonymous with mushroom foraging and cuisine.

The larger than life Italian , with no formal chef training, helped found a string of upmarket ‘caffes’ and deli’s which bear his name.
A statement from the Carluccio's restaurant chain said: "He was regarded as the Godfather of Italian cooking.
"Antonio has been a huge inspiration to many of us and his energy, zest for life and sense of humour will be greatly missed."
