Apparently we are set for the stormiest storm season in a long while.
At the end of September, before the recent red alert, Accu-Weather, the world’s second biggest commercial forecaster, predicted that we are set to experience at least seven severe storms in the winter months ahead. How they can predict these storms so far in advance is anyone’s guess.
We’ve already had Aileen and Brian so far, with ex-hurricane Ophelia to boot.
Seven may be a conservative guess at the rate we’re going!
