Martina Navratilova is a big fan of the mushrooms it seems.
She loves going foraging for mushrooms, which is something she did with her father when she was a youngster in Czechoslovakia.
She goes mushroom hunting in Colorado these days and likes to cook up what she finds. She must have some expertise in identifying the fungi, as she says herself, she’s still here!
Recently she appeared on the Late Late Show on RTÉ. She explained how much she loved Ireland, and hoped to be back soon to visit the country in more depth. Keep an eye out for the tennis ace, perhaps she’ll be out foraging in the woods someday down the country.
