Only last month Hughes Mushrooms was in the news for the multi-million pound investment in a new facility in England.
Now as part of this multi-million investment, Hughes Mushrooms has also announced the expansion of its head office production facility in Dungannon.
The expansion entails - “a new stand-alone high care facility, which will support the current prepared produce factory built in 2015” according to the company, which seems to be going from strength to strength.
Demand for fresh mushrooms, which are regarded as a healthy component in any diet, is one of the key factors driving the success of the company, according to MD Kieran Hughes.
It’s great to see a local company doing so well in the choppy economic waters which prevail today.
