AFBI - the Agri-Food and Biosciences institute in the north have produced a study entitled Impacts of Alternative Post-Brexit Trade Agreements on UK Agriculture: Sector Analyses using the FAPRI-UK Model.
The study is an independent look at the prospects of a post Brexit landscape with respect to trade agreements, as it says in its title. Although the report makes no direct mention of the mushroom sector, it is a valuable insight into the way things might pan out in the future - thus it is essential reading for many, if not all farmers in the North at least. A presentation on the report was hosted on September 18th to explain the report’s implications.
