With the rise of the robots mentioned more and more in the press, Stalker has noticed that agricultural robotic devices are now being called ag-bots.
Ag bots can range from many tonne devices to drones which whizz about on farm taking metrics from all over the production facility.
In the UK a strawberry picking robot is being developed at Harper Adams University, while a group in Holland at Wagingen Univesity have developed a prototype pepper picker. We might yet see a plukrobot working on a mushroom farm soon.
