With all the talk of electric powered vehicles, note Volvo’s recent announcement - the future of oil production is still very much to the forefront.
The head of oil giant Saudi Aramco warned recently that the situation for long-term oil supplies was increasingly worrying, given the lower investment and lack of new discoveries.
He said that alternative energy resources would help meet oil and gas demand in future, but said it was premature to think these resources could be developed quickly.
