It is about the new gene editing technique called Crispr which hit the headlines in the mushroom world a year or so back.
The implications of the new “power to control evolution” are becoming ever more apparent and this book is by the co-discoverers of the techniques used.
Very readable and very informative, it is one of those science books that deserves to be read in every home.
The future of humankind is one suspects going to be different because of the techniques explained therein.
