There’s a big expansion on the mushroom production front at the Costa Group in Australia.
The company's facility at Monarto in South Australia is making a AUS$60 million expansion over the next year or so. The investment will help create 200 construction jobs and eventually lead to 200 full time mushroom production jobs.
The company is building a solar farm beside the mushroom facility to help provide for the energy needs and intends to build a further solar farm after the expansion is completed.
They're certainly thinking big down under to help meet the demand for mushrooms.
