Speaking of cars - Intel are predicting that the self-drive industry will create a $7 trillion industry by the year 2050.
The US tech giant is forecasting what it terms a “passenger economy” that will create huge opportunities for new businesses as people transform from drivers to riders with time, rather than a steering wheel , on their hands.
It’s hard to actually fully envisage the transformation predicted - but the sci-fi scenario is not too far ahead it seems.
