WEATHER WATCH

This April was the driest April in 44 years - it would be hard not to notice all the dust flying about theses days.

It was mild and exceptionally dry according to the Irish state  weather service Met Éireann.

That dust of course is quite the disease vector for mushroom growers, and keeping doors shut as much as possible on units has always been good advice.
