Food and drink exports from Britain have boomed since the Brexit vote. Overseas sales are up almost 12 percent.
The reason for the burst of export growth - it is of course the weaker pound. Food and drink exports totalled £20.1 billion, up from £18 billion the previous year.
Exports grew in nine out of ten of the UK’s leading export markets - Ireland, the US, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy Belgium China and Hong Kong.
