Perusing a Sunday glossy last weekend, Stalker spotted this nugget of health advice.
On how to lower your cholesterol, the advice was - eat littler and oftener; work your quads, i.e. your lower body; sleep right, too much or too little sleep disrupt cholesterol metabolism; and eat tofu not meat.
The last tip is explained as: to cut cholesterol in your diet, replace meat at least one night a week with low-cholesterol protein tofu, Quorn or mushrooms.
Another little boost for consumption of the fresh produce one would say!
