Stalker was intrigued recently by the notion of a mushroom beer.
A student in the US has the dream to begin that brewing concept. Harper Adams University student Harriet Livesey has been brought-up on a farm that grows woodland mushrooms. Through her studies and placement year at Seasoned Cookery School, she has gained skills in marketing, business and diversification and wishes to use these in a new business which creates beer from waste woodland mushrooms.
She hopes to diversify and start a new agricultural enterprise making artisan shiitake beer from the waste mushrooms.
Stalker will drink to that endeavour, and hopefully someday we’ll be able to taste the product of that particular dream.
