SOLAR FARM

The green light has been given for a giant solar farm covering the size of 26 football pitches in the Mid Ulster area near Cappagh in Co.Tyrone.

Stalker understands that the locals think that Cappagh is sunnier than anywhere else in the country!

The 5 MW solar farm is to be sited on 40 acres, just beside a pre-existing wind farm on the Altmore road.
