The new head of the British Chambers of Commerce, one of the UK’s largest business bodies, hails from the local environs. Francis Martin from the Moy in Co.Tyrone was a former president of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce.
He reckons he has his work cut out for him following the EU referendum. Following the Brexit vote businesses throughout the UK needed ti see the government showing firm leadership on issues that are crucial to business growth, he said.
