Once again two mushroom companies made it into The Irish Times Top 1000 Companies list for 2016. Monaghan Mushrooms was the highest entry at position 218. With a turnover of €272 million and 3,500 employees, the company is by far the biggest entity from the mushroom sector.
At position 532 is Walsh Mushrooms with a turnover of €75 million and 240 employees.
Donegal Creameries is still listed under that name and is in position 504, with a turnover of €81 million and 237 employees.
