In this day ‘n’ age we are all being told how to keep passwords secure and look out that no-one is spotting our pin numbers.
Some recent advice on having secure passwords for computers and phones and the like was quite interesting.
Hackers these days can basically crack any code that isn’t at least 14 characters long in no time at all. Experts now say a passphrase of 14 characters or preferably more is the way to go.
If the phrase is like EveryDayIReadTheMushroomPeople it will take billions of years to crack. You have been warned - p.s. Don’t use that one there! Make it memorable and personal.
The other thing to perhaps use is a password manager, according to the techies. They are downloadable apps that encrypt and store passwords.
