BIO-LUMINESCENCE

In celebration of Sir David Attenborough’s 90th birthday the BBC is airing a documentary in which he explores luminescence in the natural world.

One of the main attractions is bioluminescent fungi, some of which can be found in Cook Forest State Park in Pennsylvania.

The programme is called Life that Glows and was aired on May 9th, but if you missed it you can always catch up with it on BBC IPlayer.
