The Shirley Conran quote that “Life’s too short to stuff a mushroom” keeps ringing in Stalker’s ears of late.
There seems to be an explosion in the variety and type of stuffed mushroom on offer in supermarkets of late. Having sampled the delicious local stuffed mushrooms from the Hughes Filled Full Of range, Stalker tried out a cheaper stuffed mushroom from the Bryans stable recently.
The Bryans Garlic & Cheese stuffed Mushrooms were excellent, even though they are priced at a more bargain end of the market it seems.
No matter what the origin of the mushrooms - the stuffed variety are certainly being pushed in retail environments, and they’re pretty good nosh. Life is certainly not too short to eat a stuffed mushroom!
