Having sampled the delights of the Filled Full Of range by Hughes Mushrooms, Stalker was browsing through the Tesco magazine and discovered a handy tip for making one’s own baked mushrooms.
If one has some leftover anchovies then stuff some portobello mushrooms with spinach wilted in oil and garlic.
Fry the anchovies with cubes of bread, then add to the mushrooms before baking. Reminds Stalker of the old joke - what’s the smelliest thing in the world? An Anchovies bottom.
They are tasty in cooking, so Stalker is led to believe.
