In the Chinese calendar, this year is the year of the monkey. Specifically it is the year of the Red Fire Monkey, which is supposed to be a very lucky year in the Chinese Zodiac. Stalker is not a believer in zodiac mythologies, be they occidental or oriental.
However it can be seen as a bit of good fun here in the West; In the East it is taken very seriously. So here’s hoping that the red fire monkey does the trick for all of us with the good luck! However one wag with oriental knowledge has pointed out to Stalker that if it’s your year - i.e. if you were born in the year of the monkey, then it is an unlucky year for you. Tough luck there!
