Bank of Ireland has been making the business pages revealing that it has approved £795m of new business lending. Lending approval to the agri sector is apparently up 25 percent since 2014. As ever the bank seems pleased with itself with its announcements. It sees increased demand driven by opportunities in both farming and agri-food business.
