Across all media platforms the clamour about the potentially imminent UK vote on whether to leave the EU or remain in grows ever louder. The doomsday scenarios for if the UK Leaves the EU are starkly painted. The even doomierday scenarios for the UK if it remains in the EU are equally loudly explicated. We do live in a media saturated environment - ( apologies for that - Ed.) and every twist and turn of modern life is dragged under the spotlight, and expounded upon until we’re sick to the hind teeth of hearing about it. Does it matter? In the short term maybe, in the medium term less so, and in the long run not at all. What would we talk about if this Brexit vote was not on the horizon?
