The All Ireland and UK mushroom conference has now been and gone. The show seemed to spring up like a mushroom itself.
The conference delivered on all fronts, with top level speakers on all subjects relevant to the modern mushroom industry, and a trade show with 7 more exhibitors than the previous event.
With the agriculture ministers from both parts of Ireland in attendance, and up to 150 attendees for conference from far and wide, the conference was by all standards a successful one.
Agriculture minsters Tom Hayes and Michelle O'Neill chat before opening the conference.
There were two farm visits on the Friday as a follow-up to the main conference, both were well supported too. The conference as always was excellent for networking and for touching base for those within the modern mushroom industry community.
