Sales, revenues and profits are all up at Hughes Mushrooms, which has doubled turnover in the past four years. The Dungannon firm, based at the old Trew and Moy station, has seen sales increase by 20% last year and 23% the year before.
The company supplies 240 tonnes of mushrooms to UK supermarkets every week including Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.
The firm hit the news this month after winning the Waitrose Way Award which recognises best practice to suppliers who deliver its ethical and sustainability objectives.
Well done to everyone involved in the family run firm.
