Stalker was interested to note that Tyrone company DMAC has been working closely with Queens University Belfast in order to help develop their waste water treatment system.
The system is mid range in size to offer a custom treatment process but without the expenditure of a large treatment plant.
To date there are a number of units both sold and on trial-including 4 systems sold to mushroom growers in both the North and South of Ireland.
On Wednesday 9th September DMAC Environmental won "Environmental project of the year" at the 2015 Sustainable Ireland Awards for the work performed to date on the Eco-Wash waste treatment system. Congratulations to all the team involved.
The Eco-Wash unit has also been recognized by the Horticulture grant system within the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine.
