Stalker has been reading with interest all the reports about the crisis in the milk industry of late.
It wasn’t that long ago that the dairy industry in Ireland was being hailed as being on the cusp of a fantastic revolution, with milk quotas ending, the sky was the limit.
Then of course in far flung China things went into freefall and suddenly there was a major crisis brewing. The interdependence of the global marketplace has been starkly highlighted again. What happens halfway around the world can have profound implications here.
Oversupply is suddenly a big part of the problem.

Stalker hopes dairy producers get a fair price for their product, in the meantime, maybe we can cook mushrooms the old-fashioned way to help out - mushrooms cooked in butter and milk was the oul way of cooking them up!
