It was surprising to read then of the latest composting wheeze in the US where tests are being carried out into turning corpses into fertiliser and plans in Seattle to build a “compost –based renewal facility to safely and gently turn our deceased into soil building material”.
Being good for the environment, even in death, can only be a good thing. AT the same time though it is hard to imagine being turned into mulch.
