SURPRISING SET UP

The mushroom industry never ceases to surprise, with innovation, new products, new markets and the like.

One such surprise last month came with the announcement of an Indonesian company setting up a mushroom ‘plantation’ in Serbia.

One normally expects the flow of investment to run from Europe to the Far East, not the other way about.

It’s a bit out of left field that the potentially largest mushroom operation in the Balkans will be Indonesian in flavour.
