The warnings on a Greek exit (Grexit) from the eurozone have now been conjoined in the headlines with a potential British exit from the EU.
The new fear facing Ireland is the double whammy of Brexit and Grexit, which it is believed would cause major headaches in particular for Ireland because of our close trading relationship with Britain.
Sometimes one wonders would it really cause that much upset if the UK left the EU, or is it simply scaremongering?
However, a disorderly Greek exit from the eurozone could well spell the beginning of the end for the currency union. No matter, que sera, sera as the old tune goes.
