BBC 2’s new foodie programme aired on a Monday night (and helpfully repeated on Saturday evenings), Kew on a Plate, is sure to attract the discerning foodie viewer who has an hour or so to spare of an evening.
The programme includes a look at the history of certain foods, and Stalker has a suspicion that fungi will be among the foodstuffs examined.
With presenters Kate Humble and top chef Raymond Blanc, it promises to be a pleasant enough magazine-style television show with the added attraction of being set in the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew.
