MAGIC BARD

Stalker loved the headline in the Arts section of the Irish Times recently which read: “Shakespeare may have been on magic mushrooms.”

The item was about a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by the Abbey theatre, which has been relocated to a nursing home.

For sure the Bard’s magical play is a bit out there, but to suggest the scribe was on magic mushrooms is perhaps a stretch.
