As the weather spake says, March can come in like a lion and out like a lamb.
With sub zero temperatures the norm all over Ireland on the 1st of March, coming in from Canada apparently, it seemed like we were in for our second snap of winter.
By the 7th of March Murlough near Newcastle in Co. Down was recording the highest UK temperature that weekend with 17.5C.
March this year has a rollercoaster feel to it, weather wise.
In the end, March left us like a lion. On the 31st, there was hail and snow in some parts, with temperatures down to 1C.
