Stalker is always intrigued by the latest news emanating from North Korea. There’s always lot of notable plots and intrigues that surround the isolationist nation, and their love of mushrooms is never far from the machinations of state.
So when a new array of 310 political slogans were published on the 12th of February, Stalker was pretty sure there’s be some mention of the fabulous fungi.
Sure enough one of the slogans minted for the edification of the people was the stirring refrain - “"Let us turn ours into a country of mushrooms by making mushroom cultivation scientific, intensive and industrialised!” It brings a smile to the face that’s for sure. But of course behind it all there is the serious business of feeding a much neglected populace. One of the slogans published stressed the urgent need to increase food production, in order to “resolve the food problem of the people and improve their dietary life.”
It can only be hoped that the country strives ever more to benefit its people.
