The appetite for mycoprotein seems to be on the up.
Stalker notes that meat free producer Quorn foods racked up record sales last month, as consumers ditched fad diets in favour of healthy long-term options.
The North Yorkshire based firm said sales were up 8% to £14.6 million in January.
Last month it reported record full year sales up 7 % to £150 million, and the firm said it attracted 1.9 million new customers over the period.
