Stalker was amused by a small item on milk product names in China. The product Da Hun Jun has run into some advertising problems, as it is meant to mean “great meat monarch”, but can be misconstrued as another similar sounding phrase which means “ fatuous and self indulgent ruler”.
Because it might be somehow misconstrued further as a barb against the Chinese president Xi Jingping, adverts and product references on social media have been pulled.
Just goes to show that you can never be too careful. Who said doing business in China would be easy?
