With all the doom and gloom which has surrounded the mushroom industry in recent months, it is nice to finally have some joyous news to report.
On the 30th July Tommy and Teresa Dillon will begin their trip to China to adopt an eleven-month-old baby boy. This is particularly significant considering that An Tong Yu will be only the second Chinese boy ever adopted here in Ireland.
Some of our readers may already know Tommy from having worked with J. F. McKenna for eleven years. Readers may also know that since J. F. McKenna’s relocation from Drogheda, Tommy has seized the opportunity to put his many years of experience, both as a grower and as a designer for J. F. McKenna, into use by setting up his own business.
Dillon Design Engineering was set up by Tommy to produce high quality engineering products for the mushroom industry. Stalker would like to wish Tommy and Teresa best wishes on their forthcoming three week trip to China and on the new addition to their family.
