Watching a rerun of Rick Stein's Far Eastern Odyssey, Stalker was salivating at all the tasty food the chef was eating out in Thailand. During his treks Stein was after a famous Thai mushroom and shrimp soup. He was taken to the local farmer’s Oyster mushroom growing hut. The mushroom cultivation was weird by Irish standards. One thing that stood out was the flies buzzing around. On his way out of the hut with the gloriously lush looking Oyster mushrooms, Rick managed to bang his head on a cross beam and cut himself on the scalp. Just goes to show that the harvesting of mushrooms no matter where in the world is an activity one must pay attention to!
