Congratulations to Hughes Mushrooms which has reached the landmark age of 50.
The marketing and distributing producer organisation has been operating from its Trewmount Road, Dungannon HQ for the past half century, and has been going from strength to strength.
Stalker noted that many local businesses in the mushroom industry were wishing the company well in the pages of the local press. It is truly a magnificent achievement to reach the 50 years in business, especially considering the tough economic times of the past while.
The company held a special event to mark 50 years in the business at Parkanaur forest park near Dungannon. The Hughes family were joined by the permanent secretary of DARD, Mr Noel Lavery, the mayor of Dungannon Roger Burton, with customers, growers, suppliers and staff, for an evening of reminiscence, nostalgia and entertainment, music and dance.
