It’s nice to see the faces behind the produce when you buy in the local shops. Stalker notes that Centra are continuing to promote the fresh mushroom produce with the tasty fizzogs of the growers themselves.
On a recent €1 Irish Button Mushroom 200g packet the Monaghan grower Andrew Shanks was pictured on the label.
It’s amazing also to see the amount of information that is contained on the labels these days. There’s plenty of reading and it doesn’t hurt to see a friendly smiling face either.
