Reports from the Amarach Research group in Dublin indicate that nearly a quarter of Irish food and drink companies say new EU labelling regulations, due to come into force in December, will stop them investing in their brands.
It seems like another set of red tape rules from Brussels, forcing companies to detail more nutritional information and country of origin info on the packs of their products, is set to hamper businesses by adding costs to their products. Less is more, as they say.
