Irish mushroom expert Bill O’Dea was taking a group of folk out to forage in Sardinia this autumn.
The three night stay was costing €440 pp sharing, excluding flights, and was taking in trips to a cheesemaker, a wine producer and including lunch at the Alghero fish market.
It would be hard to whack a few days away like that, focussing on food, fungi , fish and fine wines.
