There was some confusion apparently as to whether mushrooms were included in the ban on food imports to Russia.
Some investigation revealed that the CN codes of mushrooms are also included in the ban. Some Polish mushrooms were apparently getting through, while other truckloads were turned back.
Some smaller Polish growers have been cancelling some compost orders.
Although there has not yet been too much disruption to the fresh market elsewhere in Europe.
The distortion in the market will no doubt though become more apparent as the ban imposition continues.
