The latest phrase to be bandied about all over the place on the technology front is the "internet of things".
What exactly it is, is up for debate - but effectively they are trying to convey that soon everything will be wired to the net; cars, fridges, ovens, even mushroom houses (if they aren't already)!
Watch out for chips being implanted in your head sometime soon.
